Middle East Stocks Mixed, Awaiting OPEC News – Nasdaq

MidEast shares were mixed before an OPEC meeting on Thursday to discuss coordinated action to support oil prices .

After the markets closed, OPEC concluded its meeting without an agreement on production targets, which weighed on oil prices.

In company news, Cleopatra Hospital Holding jumped on its first day of trade. Sigma Capital suggested a target price for the stock of 11.66 pounds, saying Egypt’s healthcare sector was highly regarded but lacked representation on the bourse.

Saudi Arabia’s main index edged up 0.5% to 6,489 points, Dubai dropped 1.6% to 3,263 points, Abu Dhabi slipped 0.7% to 4,255 points, Qatar shed 0.4% to 9,533 points, Egypt edged up 0.6% to 7,618 points, Kuwait inched up 0.1% to 5,377 points, Oman was flat at 5,820 points and Bahrain advanced 1% to 1,116 points.
